Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; for love is strong as death, jealousy is cruel as the grave. Its flashes are flashes of fire, a most vehement flame. Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it.

THE JOURNEY OF TWO SOULS IN LOVE
It was in the warm breeze of August 2017 that Michael and Felisa first crossed paths—two new students brought together by fate during university orientation in Surabaya. What began as casual conversations in a shared group soon blossomed into a deeper connection, and by October, their hearts had quietly chosen each other.
Their love story wasn’t without its challenges. Coming from different islands—Michael from Java and Felisa from Borneo—they spoke different dialects, held different traditions, and viewed the world through unique lenses. Yet through every misunderstanding and every moment of learning, they chose to grow together, hand in hand.
In 2020, the world stood still. The pandemic forced them into a long-distance chapter, with Felisa returning to Balikpapan while Michael remained in Surabaya. Though miles apart, their hearts stayed close, proving that distance could never dim a love so true.
Seven years after that first meeting, on a quiet anniversary evening in October 2024, Michael got down on one knee—turning a shared milestone into a memory they would cherish forever.
Now, as the sun rises on September 2025, they are ready to begin a new chapter—one of forever, written together in love
